Recently, I came across news/articles saying that the Banking Regulation Act has been amended to allow more than 1 nomination in Saving Bank accounts and Mutual Fund accounts. While Mutual Funds have allowed me to add both my children as my Nominees, HDFC Bank and HSBC Bank claim that they have not received any instructions in this respect. I am 71 years old and will be happy to nominate my children and make our life easy but can not do so as Banks are not willing to accept. My question is since the Act has been amended why suitable instructions have not been issued to Banks? Thank you.  Regulators RBI, SEBI etc
