Nifty, Sensex Continue To Trade in a Narrow Range- Tuesday closing report

We had mentioned, in Monday’s closing report, Nifty and Sensex are under pressure. On Tuesday, the indices opened gap up and ended with gain. On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), 1,636 stocks advanced, 1,809 declined, and 163 remained unchanged with advance decline ratio of 0.90. 
 
The trend of the major indices on Tuesday’s trading is given in the table below:
 
 
On NSE, 59 securities advanced and closed at a new 52-week high whereas 67 securities sank to close at their new 52-week lows. In sectorial indices, Nifty Realty was the only loser whereas Nifty PSU Bank and Nifty Metal were the biggest gainers. BSE Midcap ended in line with their larger peers gaining 0.48% but BSE Small Cap underperformed closing 0.1% down.
 
Rupee ended at 81.67/$ as compared to Monday’s close of 81.84/$.
 
FSN E-Commerce (Nykaa) CFO (chief financial officer) has resigned with effect from 25th November. The stock closed 4.6% down.
 
KPR Mill’s 0.25% equity changed hands at Rs542 per share and the stock closed in red. Lemon Tree Hotel 0.28% equity changed hands at Rs93.05 per share, the stock closed in red. Max Financial’s 1.55% equity changed hands at Rs649 per share; the stock closed in red.
 
Ease My Trip has signed an MoU (memorandum of understanding) with Assam Tourism Development Corporation to develop tourism in the state. The stock closed 19.4% higher.
 
Aether Industries has signed a long-term agreement with Europe-based Polarised for research and manufacturing.
 
In insider buying and selling, Ashapura Minechem promoter bought 3,107 shares through the open market. Banswara Syntex promoter sold 26,750 shares through the open market. Excel Realty N Infra promoter sold 57,000,000 shares through the open market. Almondz Global Securities promoter bought 11,679 shares through the open market. Aurionpro Solutions Director bought 1,500 shares through the open market. Almondz Global Securities promoter bought 4,928 shares through the open market. Kopran promoter bought 11,000 shares through the open market. Banswara Syntex promoter sold 45,000 shares through the open market. Alicon Castalloy KMP (key managerial personnel) sold 4,000 shares through the open market. Quess Corp KMP bought 5,000 shares through the open market. Vaxtex Cotfab promoter sold 12,806 shares through the open market.
UCO Bank touched a new 4-year high with huge volumes.
